AstroPaper

This site was originally forked from AstroPaper by Sat Naing, and subsequently heavily customised with a new design system, editorial layout, chart components, and a research analysis framework. The derivative work as a whole is proprietary (see the About page for license terms), but the original AstroPaper source that remains in this codebase is still governed by the MIT License below.

Fonts

The site is set in iA Writer Quattro, iA Writer Duo and iA Writer Mono, copyright 2018 Information Architects Inc., with Reserved Font Name “iA Writer”. These are modified versions of the IBM Plex typeface, copyright 2017 IBM Corp., with Reserved Font Name “Plex”. Both are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1, which allows the fonts to be used and redistributed with software provided each copy carries the copyright notice and the licence. The fonts are not sold by themselves.

Other dependencies

All other third-party open-source packages used at build time, including Astro, Tailwind CSS, Observable Plot, D3, Pagefind, and KaTeX, retain their own upstream licenses. Consult each package’s own repository or source distribution for its specific terms.
